Dog Boarding Requirements

To ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in our care, the following requirements must be met before a dog can stay with us:
✓Vaccination Requirements
All dogs must be up to date on the following:
- Rabies
- Distemper/Parvo/Lepto (DHLPP)
- Bordetella (kennel cough)
**Proof of vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian must be provided before your dog's stay. Pets that are unable to be vaccinated due to health concerns must have a letter from their veterinarian.
✓Health Requirements
- Dogs must be free of contagious illnesses and parasites.
- Dogs must be on a current heartworm, flea & tick prevention.
- Dogs showing symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting, coughing, or lethargy may be refused for safety.
- Please let us know if your dog has a serious health condition so we can monitor your pet appropriately. (Seizures, Heart failure, allergies, etc.)
✓Temperament & Behavior
- Dogs must be non-aggressive toward people.
- A scheduled meet & greet is required before the first stay.
- Dogs must be house trained. (We understand accidents happen)
✓Age & Reproductive Status
- Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and have completed required/age appropriate vaccines.
- Intact dogs are accepted as long as they are not actively in heat and do not display problematic behaviors.
✓What to Bring
- Food (enough for their entire stay, portioned into labeled zip lock bags)
- Medication (if needed)
- Comfort items (bed, blanket, favorite toy)
- Collar or Harness
