Dog Boarding Requirements

To ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in our care, the following requirements must be met before a dog can stay with us:

Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must be up to date on the following:

  • Rabies
  • Distemper/Parvo/Lepto (DHLPP)
  • Bordetella (kennel cough)

**Proof of vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian must be provided before your dog's stay. Pets that are unable to be vaccinated due to health concerns must have a letter from their veterinarian.

Health Requirements

  • Dogs must be free of contagious illnesses and parasites.
  • Dogs must be on a current heartworm, flea & tick prevention.
  • Dogs showing symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting, coughing, or lethargy may be refused for safety.
  • Please let us know if your dog has a serious health condition so we can monitor your pet appropriately. (Seizures, Heart failure, allergies, etc.)

Temperament & Behavior

  • Dogs must be non-aggressive toward people.
  • A scheduled meet & greet is required before the first stay.
  • Dogs must be house trained. (We understand accidents happen)

Age & Reproductive Status

  • Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and have completed required/age appropriate vaccines.
  • Intact dogs are accepted as long as they are not actively in heat and do not display problematic behaviors.

What to Bring

  • Food (enough for their entire stay, portioned into labeled zip lock bags)
  • Medication (if needed)
  • Comfort items (bed, blanket, favorite toy)
  • Collar or Harness
